Lincoln County Commissioner Mel Shumway stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, April 27 for the monthly commissioner's report. Commissioner Shumway discussed TerraPower's Kemmerer Unit 1 and the workforce impacts, timber harvests and the revision plan with the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the return of a proposal for a solar farm south of Cokeville and the vote to increase salaries for elected officials in Lincoln County.

SVI Radio's Weekday Wake-Up on Friday, April 17 was dedicated to the Star Valley and Lincoln County Search & Rescue units and VIP Kentucky Derby Experience raffle hosted by The Fishing Dog Foundation. The show included guest interviews from Sheriff Shane Johnson, Star Valley Search & Rescue Commander Matt McMurdo, Lincoln County Search & Rescue volunteers Matt Peavler and Ty Sellers, Dan Dockstader, and McKay Erickson. The winner of the drawing was held at the end of the show.
