Adam Caulkins, Kemmerer District Ranger with the Bridger-Teton National Forest, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, June 23 to report on an increased partnership between the U.S. Forest Service and the Wyoming State Forestry Division. The partnership has created the Good Neighbor Authority and Shared Stewardship programs which are being piloted in Lincoln County. The programs are expected to increase forest health through a large increase in lumber sales and logging operations, both in small and large timber sales, in the Greys River and Kemmerer Ranger Districts. 

Superintendent Matt Erickson from Lincoln County School District #2 stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, June 23 for his monthly report.

Lincoln County Commissioner Mel Shumway stepped into the SVI Radio studio for his monthly report. Commissioner Shumway discussed the commission's vote to deny the proposed Lincoln Star Improvement District, the latest on Rocky Mountain Power's proposed Gateway West Transmission Line that would run through Lincoln County south of Cokeville and an update on IDAWY Solid Waste District and the Thayne and Kemmerer transfer stations. 

Representative Scott Heiner (R-Green River) called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, June 22 to discuss the potential of building a demonstration coal fired powerplant in southwest Wyoming. The plant will be based on the new Staged Pressurized Oxy-Combustion (SPOC) design currently being pilot-tested at Washington University in St. Louis and will use Wyoming coal, natural gas, and biomass for fuel.

U.S. Representative Harriet Hageman (R-WY) called into the Weekday Wake-Up for her monthly report on Thursday, June 18. Rep. Hageman discussed a recent D.C. visit made by Cokeville students, Cokeville graduate Evan Dietz who is currently serving on her staff as an intern, the Roadless Rule and President Trump's investment into the coal industry.

Sierra Mitchel, President of the Afton Food Pantry, stepped into the SVI Radio studio to promote this Friday's Mobile Food Pantry at Star Valley High School. 

Dr. Alex Oliver, Headmaster for Wyoming Classical Academy-Alpine, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, June 16 to promote next week's ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for June 25. 

Lxi Weber, Executive Director of the Star Valley Arts Council, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, June 16 for her monthly report.
