Susie Thompson from Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare spoke with Lisa this morning on the WAVE about the upcoming Skilled Nursing Facility's annual Soup and Baked Goods Fundraiser. 

Town of Afton Administrator Violet Sanderson called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, November 5 for her monthly report. Sanderson discussed upcoming work downtown, including opening up a breezeway to the East parking lot, upcoming Holiday events during November and a discussion around updating town policy regarding allowing cargo shipping containers to be used as storage on residential property. 

Should Star Valley football move up to the 4A classification? It's a question that has been brought up by high school sports fans around the state of Wyoming for the last handful of years, as the Braves have won four consecutive 3A state titles with a potential fifth coming next weekend in Laramie. Duke & Dahl, the announcers for Star Valley football coverage on the SVI Sports Network, share their thoughts and opinions to that question. 

Lisa spoke with Tristi Pinkston Wednesday, November 4 about the Oregon California Trail Center and the Rails and Trails museum and an upcoming Fundraiser this Saturday, November 7 at 7pm. 

Shane Johnson and Kim Hulme from Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare stopped by The Wave Tuesday, November 3 to talk more about Medicare. Open Enrollment continues now through December 7. The hospital will be holding a Medicare Education night on Tuesday, November 10 at 6pm at the Oregon California Trail Center. This is a free event. 

Brett Storey with the Greys River Collaborative spoke with SVI Media's Dan Dockstader regarding some of the projects the collaborative is working on in conjunction with the Bridger-Teton National Forest. 

Eric Wiltanger, Interim Director of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, November 3 for his monthly report. Director Wiltanger spoke to what appears to be a successful hunting season across the state, especially for mule deer, and also touched on recent poaching cases on the western side of the state. 

Representative McKay Erickson (R-Afton) called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, November 3 to share his thoughts on Proposition 1, the People’s Initiative to Limit Property Tax in Wyoming through a Homeowner’s Property Exemption, that if passed would provide a 50% property tax reduction for full-time Wyoming residents on a single home. 

Jason Smith, President of the Board with the South Lincoln Fire District, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, November 2 to discuss Proposition 1 and his viewpoint on the property tax measure from the standpoint of fire services in the Kemmerer area. 

Nathan Fox, Vice President with the Kemmerer Athletics and Recreation Association (KARA) called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, November 2 to recap fall soccer, promote winter hockey and discuss an upcoming fundraiser for the non-profit organization.
