Meredith Leonard, Chairman of the Board with the Alpine Education Foundation, called into SVI Radio's Weekday Wakeup on Thursday, October 30 with an update on the charter school coming to Alpine. Wyoming Classical Academy is on schedule to hold their first classes in Alpine in the fall of 2026.

SVI Radio Interview: LCSD2 Superintendent Matt Erickson

Superintendent Matt Erickson with Lincoln County School District #2 stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, October 28 for his monthly report. Superintendent Erickson discussed the accreditation process that is going on this week and recapped the public work session that took place earlier this month in regards to the future of the school calendar. The LCSD#2 School Board will make a decision on the calendar in their November 12 board meeting.

Erick Pauley, broadcaster for the Green River Wolves and Field Reporter for the Wyoming Cowboys' radio broadcast, called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday. Pauley discussed the regular season finally in high school football with Star Valley and Green River, and then discussed the Border War on Saturday between Wyoming and Colorado State.

Wyoming State Senator Dan Dockstader (R-Afton) from Senate District 16 stepped into the SVI Radio studio to provide a legislative update. Sen. Dockstader discussed energy in Lincoln County, logging returning to the Forest Service lands, fire prevention, education and property taxes.

SVHS Band Director Mr. Kurt Sand called into the Weekday Wakeup on Monday, October 20 to summarize the State Marching Band competition held Saturday in Casper.

The Marching Braves earned an "Excellent" rating and 2nd place overall in 3A.
