David Giralt, a Republican candidate running for Wyoming's lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, July 9 to discuss his campaign and why he is running for the federal office. 

Brian Muir, Administrator for the City of Kemmerer, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, July 9 for his monthly report. Muir gave an update on approved policy regarding the potential for temporary housing, or man camps, built in the area to house construction workers building the TerraPower nuclear facility. Muir also touched on various other items impacting the City of Kemmerer. 

Devin Wright, owner of Not Too Shabby in Thayne, stepped into the SVI Radio studio after being named as the July Business of the Month by the Star Valley Chamber of Commerce. Not Too Shabby is celebrating their 10th year in business this summer. 

 

Tim Stewart with the Star Valley Ranch R.V. Resort stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, July 7 to promote this year's concert series which takes place the Resort Barn July 24-26. The event features three night of concerts with tribute bands for Frankie Valli (December '63), Garth Brooks (Garth Live!) and Elton John (Candle in the Wind).

Director Angi Bruce with the Wyoming Game & Fish Department called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, July 7 for her monthly report. Director Bruce discussed recent recognition given to the department's commission, the designation of the Sublette Antelope Migration Corridor and an update on the success of the Trout in the Classroom program. 

Jaclyn Lechner, Director of the Salt River Community Theatre's production of Finding Neverland, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, July 6 to promote auditions which take place July 23-25 from 6-8 p.m. at the Afton Ford Theatre. 

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, July 2 to discuss Wyoming coal following the announcement from President Trump for a $700 million investment, the Wall that Heals coming to Star Valley next week and his recent Executive Order regarding data centers.
