Brian Muir, Administrator for the City of Kemmerer, called into the Weekday Wake-up on SVI Radio on Thursday, August 14 for his monthly report. Muir touched on the upcoming J.C. Penney Golden Rule Day, potential planning and zoning changes and working with the Town of Diamondville on a new comprehensive plan. 

Stephanie Cooper, President of the Rotary Club of Star Valley, and Karen Morgan, District Governor with Rotary International, spoke with SVI Media's Dan Dockstader to provide an update on the club and how they are actively involved in the Star Valley community. 

The 2025 Bear Lake County Fair and Rodeo Royalty stepped into The Wave studio with Lisa Hillier to promote everything going on this week at the Bear Lake County Fair. 

This year's Queen is Jakell Hansen with Liberty Vrska the Jr. Queen and Sakara Vrska the Princess. 

Star Valley resident and award winning composer Jeff Lippencott stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, August 13 to discuss composing the Semiquincentennial theme song for the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra and the State of Wyoming. 

Along with orchestra compositions, Lippencott is also known for composing the iconic theme song for television shows such as Shark Tank, The Biggest Loser, American Idol, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire and more. 

Shannon Lamb with the Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare Foundation joined Lisa Hillier on The Wave to discuss the importance of limits on screen time in children.

Lincoln County Sheriff Shane Johnson stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, August 12 for his monthly report. Sheriff Johnson touched on the Trump Administration considering a reclassification of marijuana and what that would mean for local law enforcement should it take place. Johnson also updated on other cases such as the ATM burglaries in Thayne and Alpine, a hit and run incident in Alpine, and ongoing scams impacting local residents. 

Wesley Yeats and Sadie Gomm, Directors of the non-profit Yeats and Gomm Organics, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday August 11 to promote their organization and what they hope it will become for the Star Valley community. 

Duke & Dahl spoke with new Kemmerer Golf Coach Jennifer Benson during First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday regarding the upcoming sports season. 

Kyle McLain, the new Activities Director for Star Valley High School, stepped into the SVI Radio studio during First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to discuss his new role overseeing athletics and activities at SVHS. 

Tristi Pinkston joined Lisa Hillier on The Wave to promote a number of upcoming community events, including the Tuesday Farmer's Markets from 12-4, the Short Stories Fundraiser for the Bear Lake Senior Center, Writer's Workshop pre-registration and the Art Gala coming up in September.
