Representative Harriet Hageman (R-WY) called into the Weekday Wake-up on Thursday, August 21 with her monthly report. Congresswoman Hageman discussed grizzly bear management, the Highway Funding Transferability Improvement Act, coal mining, energy production and illegal immigration. 

Wyoming native Ned LeDoux called into the Weekday Wake-up to promote his country concert at the South Shore Barn in Laketown, Utah. The event in the Bear Lake valley will take place Friday, August 22 with advance tickets on sale at SouthShoreBarn.com. 

Chad Baldwin, Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the University of Wyoming, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Wednesday, August 20 with his monthly report. Baldwin discussed how the university is partnering with the Buffalo Bills to increase brand awareness, the process to select to the next president of the university, the upcoming wildlife management event in Jackson and the opening of the new North Hall and Dining Center. 

David Walters with the Alpine Fire Department stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, August 20 to promote the Alpine Fire Recruitment Day happening this Saturday. 

Bear Lake School District #33 Superintendent Dr. Gary Brogan stepped into The Wave studio on Tuesday, August 19 to discuss renovations and improvements at the various school buildings throughout the district this past summer. Back to school procedures, bus routes, and extracurricular activities were also discussed. 

Lxi Weber, Executive Director of the Star Valley Arts Council, called into the Weekday Wake-up on Tuesday, August 19 for her monthly report. Weber promoted the upcoming Plein Air event in September and the Portrait and Landscape Oil Painting Workshop in October.

Lincoln County School District #2 Superintendent Matt Erickson and Lincoln County Sheriff Shane Johnson both stepped into the SVI Radio studio ahead of the start of the 2025-26 school year to discuss the details of the new law in Wyoming that allows for conceal carry on school grounds and how the school district is proceeding. 

Lisa Grimsley with the Wyoming Desperados Mounted Shooters and Mica Ratzlaff with Star Valley's Street Market stepped into the SVI Radio studio to promote this weekend's Shoot, Shop and Show event that takes place Friday and Saturday at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. The event includes the mounted shooter's competition, a street market and a car show hosted by the Star Valley Auto Club. 

Cokeville Panthers Football Marty Linford called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to discuss the start of fall camp on Monday and the upcoming season of Panther football.
