SVHS seniors Gracey Visser and Brigham Hahn stepped into the SVI Radio studio during First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to recap the 2025 Cross Country Season. 

The mermaid sisters dropped by the WAVE studio on Thursday, November 6 to sing. 

Bear Lake High School's presentation of The Little Mermaid will be on Friday, November 7 at 7pm and Saturday, November 8 at 2 and 7pm in the Bear Lake Middle School. $5 per person at the door. 

 

The Mermaids and Ursula will be meeting with the elementary aged and younger children from 5-6pm on Friday in the Middle School gymnasium for photo opportunities, refreshments and fun. $10/child includes the digital photo, refreshments and a ticket to the Saturday matinee at 2pm. 

Violet Sanderson, Administrator for the Town of Afton, called into the Weekday Wakeup on Thursday, November 6 for the town's monthly report. Sanderson detailed the upcoming Parade of Lights on Thanksgiving weekend, discussed town projects that have wrapped up, and touched on the importance of the local business community and shopping locally this holiday season.

Eliza Petty with the local non-profit One With Christ called into the Weekday Wakeup to promote an upcoming fundraiser for Libertas International. The Country Dance will take place on November 15 at the Afton Civic Center from 6-8 p.m.

Bear Lake School District Superintendent Dr. Gary Brogan stepped into The Wave studio to report on the November 4 school board. 

Mayor Eric Green with the Town of Alpine called into the Weekday Wakeup on Wednesday, November 11 for his monthly report. Mayor Green recapped Monday night's Master Plan Open House, summarized the Nov. 4 Town Council meeting and discussed other items impacting the town.

David Ryerse, CEO of South Lincoln Medical Center, sat down with SVI Media's Dan Dockstader to discuss the future of the hospital's long term care facility. 

Director Angi Bruce with the Wyoming Game & Fish Department called into the Weekday Wakeup on Tuesday, November 4 with her monthly report. Director Bruce discussed two different cases in western Wyoming involving out-of-state hunters illegally using in-state licenses, monitoring the fish habit below the Kemmerer Reservoir and looting of historical artifacts in Dubois.

Meredith Leonard, Chairman of the Board with the Alpine Education Foundation, called into SVI Radio's Weekday Wakeup on Thursday, October 30 with an update on the charter school coming to Alpine. Wyoming Classical Academy is on schedule to hold their first classes in Alpine in the fall of 2026. 

Larry Vila with the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital Auxilliary stepped into The Wave studio to talk with Lisa about the Veterans Day Luncheon for all veterans and their spouses.
