Larry Vila with the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital Auxilliary stepped into The Wave studio to talk with Lisa about the Veterans Day Luncheon for all veterans and their spouses.

Superintendent Matt Erickson with Lincoln County School District #2 stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, October 28 for his monthly report. Superintendent Erickson discussed the accreditation process that is going on this week and recapped the public work session that took place earlier this month in regards to the future of the school calendar. The LCSD#2 School Board will make a decision on the calendar in their November 12 board meeting. 

Jon Hougland with Lower Valley Energy stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, October 27 to discuss an upcoming public meeting to discuss LVE's plans to construct a small solar farm near Bedford. The meeting will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28 at the Thayne Community Center.

Star Valley High School Cross Country Coach Ty Draney called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to preview State Cross Country which takes place Saturday, October 25 in Cheyenne. 

Erick Pauley, broadcaster for the Green River Wolves and Field Reporter for the Wyoming Cowboys' radio broadcast, called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday. Pauley discussed the regular season finally in high school football with Star Valley and Green River, and then discussed the Border War on Saturday between Wyoming and Colorado State. 

Wyoming State Senator Dan Dockstader (R-Afton) from Senate District 16 stepped into the SVI Radio studio to provide a legislative update. Sen. Dockstader discussed energy in Lincoln County, logging returning to the Forest Service lands, fire prevention, education and property taxes.

SVHS Band Director Mr. Kurt Sand called into the Weekday Wakeup on Monday, October 20 to summarize the State Marching Band competition held Saturday in Casper.

The Marching Braves earned an "Excellent" rating and 2nd place overall in 3A.

Ed Ekstrom, Managing Director for Criterium Management Co. called into the Weekday Wakeup on Monday, October 20 to discuss the creation of the Lincoln Star Improvement and Service District in Lincoln County. 

Jeremiah Jensen from KSL Sports called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to discuss the big matchup between the BYU Cougars and the Utah Utes Saturday night in Provo. Jensen also touched on the Utah State Aggies who host San Jose St. on Friday night.
