Senator Laura Taliaferro Pearson (R-Kemmerer) from Senate District 14 called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Wednesday, February 18 to report on the 2026 Wyoming State Legislative Session. Sen. Pearson discussed some of her bills, along with the budget process during a budget session and the Senate's School Recalibration bill.

Lxi Weber, Executive Director of the Star Valley Arts Council, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, February 17 for her monthly report. Weber discussed two different mural opportunities in Cokeville and Alpine, and Art Exhibit coming to the Thayne Community Center, upcoming figure drawing and watercolor workshops, and the recently announced Spring Music Festival. 

Tristi Pinkston with the Bear Lake Arts Council stopped by this morning to talk about the Writer's Competition that is happening right now. Jason Shumway with RE/MAX Star Valley stepped into the SVI Radio studio for a monthly conversation regarding the current local real estate market, specifically to the process developers go through when proposing and building a housing development. 

Tracey Martiny, Volunteer Coordinator, and Gene Bates, Ceremonies Chairman, both stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, February 16 with an update on The Wall That Heals, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial which will be in Afton July 9-12. Gene discussed some of the public ceremonies that will take place while Tracey discussed on the volunteer help needed from the community.

Richard Huntsman with Star Valley Little League Baseball stepped into the SVI Radio studio for First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to promote the upcoming season and registration details. More ages have been added for the second season, with registration opening this Sunday, February 15. Parents can register online at StarValleyBaseball.com.

City of Kemmerer Administrator Brian Muir called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, February 12 for his monthly report. Muir, who is attending a nuclear energy conference with the Wyoming Association of Municipalizes in Cheyenne, provided an update on TerraPower along with other housing and commercial projects in the works for southern Lincoln County.
