Country music singer/songwriter Brenn Hill called into the Weekday Wake-Up to promote the annual Farmers and Ranchers Benefit Concert, which takes place March 20th at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.

Lincoln County Commissioner Mel Shumway stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, February 23 for the commission's monthly report. Commissioner Shumway touched on legislation being watched by the county during the legislative budget session, a proposal by Star Valley Health to create a new tax district to fund EMS and ongoing discussions and action towards providing a public video stream of commission meetings. 

Representative Andrew Byron (R-Jackson) from House District 22 called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, February 23 from Cheyenne to provide a legislative update. Rep. Byron discussed the budget bill, school recalibration and what has become known as "Check Gate."

House District 22 covers portions of northern Star Valley.

Sam Farnsworth from KSL Sports called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday from Milan, Italy to report on the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Meredith Leonard with the Alpine Education Foundation called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, February 19. Leonard discussed this Saturday's Gala event at the Alpine Civic Center, a meet-and-greet this Monday with Dr. Oliver and the latest status on the enrollment and construction of the school's temporary classrooms. 

U.S. Congresswoman Harriet Hageman called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, February 19 with her monthly report from Washington D.C. 

Rep. Hageman discussed a number of various topics including the partial government shutdown, ICE operations and illegal immigration, and coal & energy production.

Local author Jennie Drollinger stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, February 18 to promote the publication of her book As Sure As The Stars: The Sweetheart Romance That Happened.
