Shumway touched on the potential for the commissioners to begin streaming county commission meetings, the withdrawal of the Lincoln Star Improvement Service District, impact funding and a sewer modular plant in southern Lincoln County that would potentially help with a septic dumping needs in the county.

The community sing-along includes a live nativity from 6:00-6:45 with The Messiah beginning at 7:00. The event takes place at Star Valley High School and acts as a fundraiser for the Alpine Food Bank, Thayne Food Bank and Afton Food Pantry.

F. Ross Peterson, a former Bear Lake Resident and historian, called into the Morning Chit Chat with Lisa Hillier to promote his book and one man play coming to Montpelier on December 15.
Peterson's book titled "Christmas in Montpelier" is a collection of true Christmas stories from his childhood in Montpelier. It has been adapted by the USU theater department into a one man play, and will be presented at the Oregon Trail Center on December 15 at 6:00pm and again at 8:00pm. Meet the author from 4:30-5:30 and again right before the second showing.
Tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for children and proceeds benefit the Bear Lake Arts council.
