Adam Caulkins called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday on SVI Radio to promote the creation of the Kemmerer Athletics and Recreation Association, a non-profit focused on youth sports in southern Lincoln County.

 

Sid Chaulk, head coach for Kemmerer Rangers Football, called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to discuss heading into this fall's season in his inaugural year as head coach. 

Violet Sanderson, Administrator for the Town of Afton, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Thursday, August 6 for her monthly report from the town. Sanderson discussed upcoming road projects and moving forward with creating a new master plan. 

Rep. Scott Heiner (R-Green River) called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Wednesday, August 5 to provide an update on the state's school recalibration bill following summer committee work.

Heiner is Chairman of the Select Committee on School Finance Recalibration. During the interview he invited listeners to provide feedback regarding the cost of school breakfast and lunch for all students, not just those who need financial assistance, being covered by the state. Something Rep. Heiner said is being considered at the request of a judge. Heiner also requested feedback regarding the use of technology, specifically the amount of screen time, that should be allotted in the classroom. Feedback can be give by emailing Rep. Dan Dockstader spoke with Town of Alpine Administrator Riley Hovorka, Mayor Eric Green and Jacob Farnsworth regarding the Alpine Transportation Plan. 

Country music musician Makayla Renee stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, August 4 to promote her performances during the Lincoln County Fair. 

Renee will be under the Tiny Top at 11:30 and the Big Top at 2:00 on both Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Director Angi Bruce with the Wyoming Game & Fish Department called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, August 4 with her monthly report. Director Bruce discussed grizzly bear management, fishing conditions, the wildlife crossing project south of Kemmerer and the upcoming hunting season. 

 

County performer Meredith Guy stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, August 3 to introduce herself and promote her performances at the Lincoln County Fair.

Guy performs under the Tiny Top at 12:30 and the Big Top at 3:00 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Josh Dorrell, CEO of the Wyoming Business Council, called into the Weekday Wake-Up to discuss the future direction of the business council and the results from a recent 3rd party audit.
