Scott Zienkiewicz, a Sargent with the Star Valley Search & Rescue, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, March 28 to share his experience with the S&R and promote the ongoing raffle fundraiser benefiting both Star Valley and Lincoln County S&R units.  The winner of the raffle, presented by the Fishing Dog Foundation, receives a VIP trip for two to the 2026 Kentucky Derby, with 100% of proceeds going to search and rescue. Performances on free to attend on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 2:00 and 7:00.

Robert King, Director of the Star Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Maggon Osmond with S4K Connects both stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, March 11 to promote the upcoming Lunch n' Learn. The event, which also features Ben Olivas and Randy Thompson, will take place on Wednesday, March 18 at 12:00 noon. A free lunch from 225 BBQ will be provided. Sanderson discussed a SLIB loan the town has received for water infrastructure improvements and what that will mean for water rates, 4th of July plans for the 250th celebration and details regarding the process for a new subdivision as the proposal for Silver Brooks Estates goes before the Town Council tonight.
