Shar Perry, the Extension Education with 4-H in Lincoln County, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, August 13. Perry recapped the success of 4-H students during last week's Lincoln County Fair and previewed the projects that are competing this week in Douglas at the Wyoming State Fair.

Members of the local VFW Post 4797 stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, August 12 to hold their annual gun raffle drawing. Post Commander Jerry Lainhart along with Jr. Vice Commander James Wood discussed the kind of gun  that was raffled and what the money raised will be used for. Congratulations to Karen Verning of Montana who's name was drawn as this year's winner. 

SVI Radio Interview: Richard Weber & Brent Bien, Property Tax Ballot Initiative

Richard Weber and Brent Bien called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, August 12 to discuss the People's Initiative to Limit Property Tax in Wyoming through a Homeowner's Property Exemption. The ballot initiative fell short by about 1,000 signatures to be on the 2024 ballot, however the organizers of the initiative are still collecting signatures in hopes of the imitative being on future ballots.

Miss Rodeo Wyoming Bailee Mackey called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday on August 9. Mackey, who will be in attendance during Friday's PRCA Rodeo during the Lincoln County Fair, spoke to Duke & Dahl about her role as Miss Rodeo Wyoming. She will hold a meet and greet from 6:00-6:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds and also after the rodeo.

Case Tippetts, winner of The Ultimate Vocalist, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Thursday, August 8 to reflect on winning the final Vocalist competition.
