Director Bruce discussed the Alpine Wetlands project that is underway, the 2025 Hunting Outlook including the current status of mule deer herds, and the Mule Deer Crossing project that has begun south of Kemmerer. 

Town of Alpine Mayor Eric Green called into the Weekday Wake-up on Wednesday, September 3 for his monthly report. Mayor Green discussed the process of creating a new master plan for the town, the latest in the charter school coming to Alpine and a report on the Sept. 2 Town Council meeting. 

 

Joslyn Wilson with the Bear Lake Arts Council joined Lisa Hillier on The Wave to discuss the Art Gala through the month of September at the Oregon Trail Center.

Trevor Wilson, Commissioner of the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday leading into the fall sports season. Wilson discussed the latest ADM figures and the likely impact it will have especially on the 1A and 2A classifications, the latest in discussions regarding NIL for high school athletes in Wyoming and the need for football officials across the state. 

Jodie King, Head Volleyball Coach for the Kemmerer Lady Rangers, called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to discuss her team and players as they head into the 2025 season. The Rangers open the year at the Cokeville Tournament on Friday and Saturday. In pool play Friday Kemmerer plays Grace (ID), Bear Lake and Evanston with bracket play on Saturday. 

Jesica Lozier, Director of the Fossil Basin Chamber of Commerce, called into the Weekday Wake-up on Thursday, August 28 to report on recent improvements made at Triangle Park, J.C. Penney tours available through the chamber and the upcoming Fundraiser Gala scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6 at the South Lincoln Training & Events Center.
