Dr. Traske Muir, an Orthopedic Surgeon at Star Valley Health's Mountain West Orthopedics, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Thursday, July 23 to discuss the services he offers in Star Valley, specifically for specialty foot and ankle care including arthritis, bunions and Achilles tendon injuries. 

Rich Hunstman and Jaxton Wood stepped into the studio on Friday, July 17 to recap the second season of Star Valley Little League, including the inaugural year for the Senior division for teenagers. 

Lxi Weber, Executive Director, and Corinne Storey, board member, with the Star Valley Arts Council called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Wednesday, July 22 to discuss upcoming events including Montana Shakespeare in the Parks this Sunday, the Alpine Art Festival in August and Star Valley Plein Air in October.

Mike Hunsaker, COO of Star Valley Health, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, July 22 to invite the community to visit the Star Valley Health booth during the Lincoln County Fair.

Tomi Erickson with the Lincoln County Fair Board stepped into the SVI Radio Studio on Wednesday, July 22 to discuss changes to this year's Fair Parade.  The parade will take place on Friday, August 7 at 4:00 p.m.

 

Brittany Ritter with the Lincoln County Preventing ATODS Abuse Coalition called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, July 21 to discuss the signs of an opioid overdose and the Narcan treatment, which is available free of charge at pharmacies in Lincoln County. 

Bear Prairie, CEO of Lower Valley Energy, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, July 21 to provide an update on planned repairs in Swift Creek Canyon after a gate failure at the upper reservoir. Prairie also discussed a change in rate structure that will go into effect this fall. 

Country music star Ian Munsick called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, July 20 to discuss headlining this year's Lincoln County Fair with a concert on Friday, July 31. Tickets are selling fast but are still available at LincolnCountyFair.info.
