Mayor Eric Green with the Town of Alpine stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, January 7 for his monthly report. Mayor Green discussed housing in Alpine and a resolution passed by the council to seek grant funding for a housing project. 

Angi Bruce, Director of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department, called into SVI Radio's Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, January 6 for her monthly report. Director Bruce discussed the next phase of the Elk Feedground Management Plan, tracking the Jackson Elk Herd and potential impacts from what has so far been a dry, mild winter. 

Lisa Grimsley and Jay Conley stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, January 5 to promote the Vietnam Veterans Memorials Fund's 'The Wall That Heals' which is coming to Afton this July. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Lisa at the Town of Afton at (307) 885-9831.

Mayor Jeff Jensen called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, December 30 to provide the monthly report from the Town of Afton. Mayor Jensen discussed an opening on the town council and applications being accepted to fill the position, an upcoming open house with WYDOT regarding the corridor study and Main Street traffic, and also the latest plans to create a breezeway downtown. 

Tim Haberberger with the Box Y Lodge in the Greys River called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, December 29 with an update on the condition of the Greys River Road and surrounding trails. After Haberberger reported earlier in the month that the road was unsafe for travel due to ice, he said the area is now safe and ready to enjoy.

Marcuss Sainz, President, and Heath Schmid, Vice President, with the Star Valley Sno-Skippers stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, December 29 to promote the club and upcoming events for the winter season. 

JR Richert stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, December 23 to announce the overall winners of this year Edwards Law Office Coloring Competition. Additional details will be available in the December 31 edition of the Star Valley Independent. 

Superintendent Matt Erickson from Lincoln County School District #2 stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, December 23 for his monthly report. Superintendent Erickson provided a brief update as the district heads into the Christmas break. 

Lincoln County Commissioner Kent Connelly called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, December 22 for the monthly radio report from the commission.  Commissioner Connelly provided an update on the courthouse expansion next to the Kemmerer Detention Center, providing audio recordings of commission meetings to the county website and other items of interest to the commission such as the upcoming state legislative session.
