Representative Wheeler and Lisa spoke this morning about the passing of several education bills regarding certifications, spending flexibility, "Civic Awards" for students of Idaho Schools. Also about Rural Health transformation funding. 

Lisa spoke with Senator Harris on Thursday, March 19 about several bills that have passed as well as some that haven't. 

Superintendent Matt Erickson from Lincoln County School District #2 stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, March 24 for his monthly report. Superintendent Erickson shared his thoughts on the school recalibration bill passed by the state legislature.

Principal Tyler Jack stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, March 24 to share details regarding the Liberty Learning Hall being constructed at Osmond Elementary.

Lincoln County Commissioner Kent Connelly called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, March 23 for the monthly report from the commission. Connelly, the current Chairman of the commission, discussed last week's public hearing regarding the proposed EMS tax district in Star Valley, Dry Piney impact funding, potential solar farm near Cokeville and the ongoing Forest Service Revision plan. 

Cheyenne Stewart, Wildlife Management Coordinator with the Wyoming Game & Fish, spoke with SVI Media's Dan Dockstader recapping the Season Setting Public Meeting held last week in Thayne. 

Additional meetings will be held this week on Wednesday, March 25 at 4:00 in the Cokeville Town Hall and at 7:00 in the South Lincoln Training and Events Center in Kemmerer. 

Public comment is open through April 1.

Star Valley High School Senior Cooper Lancaster and Boys Basketball Coach Matt Shumway stepped into the SVI Radio studio during First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday to recap the 2025-26 basketball season.

Casey, Tel, Kimball & Owen Parry all stepped into the SVI Radio studio during First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday after Tel became Star Valley's first 4-time individual state wrestling champ in school history.

U.S. Representative Harriet Hageman (R-WY) called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Thursday, March 19 for her monthly report. Congresswoman Hageman discussed the ongoing war in Iran, the partial government shutdown, her legislation designed to end the Roadless Rule and her legislation designed to cut upfront costs for coal producers.
