Domenic Bravo, Executive Director of the Wyoming Office of Tourism, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Wednesday, April 8 to discuss tourism impacts in Lincoln County. Bravo will be speaking in Lincoln County on April 22 to both the Star Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Fossil Basin Chamber of Commerce. Angi Bruce, Director of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Tuesday, April 7 for her monthly report. Director Bruce summarized the season setting public meetings that were recently held throughout Lincoln County, the construction process of the wildlife crossings on Highway 189 south of Kemmerer, amount of CWD testing that occurred in 2025 and the recently released Mule Deer Conservation Strategy.  

Lisa had the opportunity to visit with Jordan Hobbs about the new Nature School starting in June. 

Dr. Kirk Young, President of Western Wyoming Community College, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, April 6 to report on the 2026 Progress Report released by the college last week.

Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, April 6 to promote his Star Valley Meet and Greet, which takes place from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7 at the Thayne Community Center. Secretary Gray is running for Wyoming's lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. 

Senator Harris spoke of final days of this year's legislative session in a phone interview with Lisa on Thursday morning. 

SVI Media's Dan Dockstader spoke with Etna resident Holly Bateman Moore, who shared her experiences growing up in the Etna ward building.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day is tearing down the building to replace it with a new, larger one. 

Ron Dillree, Captain with the Lincoln County Search & Rescue, called into the Weekday Wake-Up on Wednesday, April 1 to discuss his experience with S&R and promote the ongoing fundraiser raffle. 

The raffle will help fund equipment for both the Lincoln County and Star Valley Search & Rescue units. Tickets are $20 each, with the winner receiving an all expense paid trip to this year's Kentucky Derby. Tickets can be purchased at FishingDogFoundation.org.
