SVI Radio Interview: Blue Gen & Tyler Schwab, Libertas International

Tyler Schwab, Founder and President of Libertas International, hopped on the Weekday Wake-Up on Monday, October 14. Schwab was joined with Blue Gen, a sex trafficking survivor, who joined live from Columbia.

Blue shared her survival story and how the local people of Star Valley have helped her. Schwab detailed with Blue's help, Libertas International was able to put Peter Francis Kennedy behind bars, the New York man who abused Blue and many others. Blue also shared her passion for helping other girls who are currently in similar situations as her own. Her Instagram is @blue63n.

Kemmerer High School Senior Maddy Ritter called into First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday on October 11 to report on competing at the World Archery 3D Championships in Slovenia earlier this October. Maddy finished 9th overall in the world and was a big part of helping Team USA to a 3rd place finish.

Lincoln County Assessor Debbie Larson called into SVI Radio's Weekday Wake-Up morning show on Wednesday, October 9 to inform listeners about the application process for the Long-term Homeowners Property Tax Exception. The application is for those age 65 and older who have paid property taxes in Wyoming for at least 25 years. Those who qualify would receive a 50% reduction in their assessed property value.
