Evan Simpson, a member of the Board of Directors for the non-profit group Become Peacemakers, stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Tuesday, May 2 to introduce the organization and goals. 

The circus is coming to town on June 30, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Montpelier. Lisa caught up with Dennis Deuhren to get the details and to discuss some other fun things coming up in June and July sponsored by the Rotary Club. 

Lincoln County Commissioner Kent Connelly stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Monday, June 1 for the monthly report from the commission. Chairman Connelly discussed the recent 2-1 vote to deny the creation of an EMS tax district in Star Valley and a revised proposal for the Lincoln Star Improvement Service District. 

SVI Media's Dan Dockstader spoke with Brett Story, who recently testified in Congress to the Natural Resources Committee in Washington D.C. regarding the Greys River Collaborative and forest service management in Wyoming.

Lisa spoke with Shannon Miller this morning on the WAVE about "Baby Animal Days" sponsored by Bear Lake Animal Hospital. The event is free to the public and will be held Saturday, May 30 from 11-1 at the Bear Lake Animal Hospital on North 4th Street. 

Shane Johnson and Whitney Bytheway dropped by the WAVE this morning to talk about the upcoming Trail Days sponsored by the Bear Lake Valley Healthcare Foundation. It is a family-friendly event on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bear Lake County Fairgrounds. Food, Fun, Shopping, a tractor show, and live entertainment all in one place, and all for a great cause. 

Star Valley High School's Gracey Visser (Senior), Carlee Angell (Junior), Evelyn Scharmann (Sophomore) and Kelsie Dunne (Sophomore) who broke the school 4X800 record at state track last weekend, joined Coach Ty Draney in the SVI Radio studio to speak with Duke & Dahl during First Bank of Wyoming Sports Friday. 

Brent Bien, Candidate for Governor of Wyoming, stepped into the SVI Radio studio to discuss why he is running for Governor and what his focuses are. 

Mike Toronto, Transit Director for START Transit, called into the Weekday Wake-Up to discuss changes to stop times and route schedules, along with a free ride week in June. 

Chairman Brandon Taylor and Ryan Lyman with the Lincoln County Fair Board stepped into the SVI Radio studio on Wednesday, May 27 to promote the events and entertainment scheduled for this year's Lincoln County Fair. Tickets are available now at LincolnCountyFair.info.
